The steel sculpture, created by local artist Tim Glover, is one of the neighborhood art projects funded through the City of Houston and the Houston Arts Alliance. At the dedication, Council Member Lovell greeted community leader Mrs. James Johnson.
After helping to open the new Living Bridge in Memorial Park on December 1, Vice Mayor Pro Tem and Council Member Lovell strolled across the pedestrian/bicycle bridge, holding a piece of the holiday-greenery “ribbon” used in the ribbon cutting.
