Sue Congratulates Havens Center

Havens Center 10.15.09Vice Mayor Pro Tem and Council Member Sue Lovell congratulated the Rev. Carissa Baldwin, director of the Havens Center, on the grant that the center recently received for after-school programs through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. Council Member Lovell was instrumental in securing the grant for the Havens Center, which provides programs that serve youth and the community. The center, a program of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, is one of 72 local nonprofit organizations to receive grants awarded through Gulf Coast Community Services Association.
