Council Member Lovell represented the City of Houston at a reception for the China Real Estate Chamber of Commerce on September 18 at the Greater Houston Partnership. At the event at the Greater Houston Partnership, Council Member Lovell presented a basketball signed by Houston Rockets center Yao Ming to Madame Nie, the China Real Estate Chamber of Commerce president. The City of Houston and the Chinese delegation also exchanged official gifts.
