Don’t Mess with Houston:
Taking on Graffiti Criminals
“Houston is our home, and you don’t have the right to destroy someone else’s property.”
It’s a statement Sue made many times while building support for her efforts to reduce illegal graffiti. She won $1 million in funding from Mayor Bill White’s administration and earned the Quality of Life Visionary Award given by the Greater Houston Partnership. Sue is now working on creating more legitimate art space for artists to highlight their talents.
