On July 17, Council Member Lovell welcomed athletes and organizers participating in the National Senior Games, including (from left) Patti Dale Tye, Humana of Humana president; Senior Games athletes DeEtte Sauer and Jenny Booth; 2011 National Senior Games Local Organizing Committee Chairman Dan Wolterman; Dr. George Smith, president of Humana Senior Products, Texas; and Greg Ortale, Greater Houston Convention and Visitors Bureau president and CEO. Humana is the presenter of the National Senior Games, which will take place August 1-15 in the San Francisco Bay Area.
